These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Syzygy and related account, entitlement, pairing, sync, and support services.

Acceptance and scope

By creating an account, activating a plan, or using Syzygy, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the EULA, and any plan-specific commercial terms presented to you at purchase or activation.

Eligibility and account security

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account or trusted devices have been compromised.

What the service provides

Syzygy offers clipboard capture, history management, file and rich-content preview, trusted-device pairing, and content sync capabilities. Some features require a paid entitlement, a signed-in account, or a compatible platform.

License and ownership

Subject to your compliance with these terms and any applicable plan limits, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Syzygy for personal use or internal business workflows. We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the software, service, documentation, design, trademarks, and related materials. These terms do not sell or transfer ownership of the software or service to you.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain your rights in the clipboard content, files, text, images, links, and other materials you capture, preview, sync, export, or submit through the service. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the features you choose, such as syncing between trusted devices, rendering previews, providing support, processing deletion requests, or investigating security and abuse reports.

You are responsible for making sure that you have the right to capture, store, sync, export, or share the content you use with Syzygy, and for avoiding content that violates law, confidentiality duties, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or workplace policies that apply to you.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the service with content or devices you are not authorized to access;
  • bypass plan limits, entitlement rules, pairing rules, security protections, or technical safeguards;
  • use the service to distribute malware, commit fraud, violate law, or infringe the rights of others; or
  • interfere with the stability, security, or availability of the service.

Plans, billing, and feature availability

  • Pricing, eligibility, device limits, sync privileges, and other commercial terms are described in the applicable checkout flow, activation flow, or in-app feature matrix.
  • Feature availability may differ by platform, region, entitlement state, operating-system capability, and current network conditions.
  • We may change pricing or plan structure prospectively. Material changes will be reflected before they apply to new purchases or future billing periods, where applicable.
  • Purchases may be processed by Paddle, an app store, or another authorized payment provider. Provider terms, tax handling, cancellation tools, refund processes, chargeback rules, and fraud-review controls may also apply.
  • Activation codes, licenses, and entitlements are not cash equivalents and may not be resold, transferred, shared, or used to bypass plan or device limits unless we expressly allow it in writing.

Third-party services and platforms

The service may rely on operating-system APIs, app stores, payment processors, hosting providers, relay infrastructure, diagnostics, analytics, support tools, or other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party products or policies, but we use them where needed to provide, secure, distribute, support, or bill for Syzygy.

Service changes, suspension, and termination

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the service, respond to abuse, address security risks, or comply with legal obligations.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create security or compliance risk, or misuse the service.
  • We may revoke or disable activation codes, entitlements, devices, or sessions associated with fraud, chargebacks, refunds, compromised credentials, security risk, or breach of these terms.
  • You may stop using the service at any time. Account deletion and data handling are governed by the Privacy Policy and the Data Retention & Deletion notice. Cancellation, refund, and access-revocation outcomes are governed by the applicable checkout flow, payment provider rules, and Refund Policy.

Disclaimers

  • You remain responsible for reviewing sensitive content before syncing, exporting, or deleting it.
  • Except to the extent prohibited by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available."
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every device, network, or third-party integration.
  • Beta, preview, experimental, or unstable features may change, stop working, lose state, or be removed without becoming generally available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syzygy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunity arising from the service. Where applicable law does not permit that limitation, liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

Mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms limits consumer, privacy, refund, withdrawal, warranty, or other rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice through the website, app, account channel, or checkout flow where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms, except where applicable law requires a different process.
